When I speak with potential clients, I am told they do not see results with their workouts. During our consultation session, I have to be honest about reasons why they are not seeing results. I will share three reasons why you may not be seeing results.
1. You are not pushing yourself
When I hear about my client’s past workout plan, it is clear that they like to stay in their comfort zone. I find out that when they lift weights, they keep the same weight during their entire training cycle or never monitor their heart rates during their cardio workouts. As a fitness coach, I try to push my clients out of their comfort zone and to break a sweat during their workout session.
2. You have to focus
A lot of my clients learn to focus during their workouts when they train with me. After training with me, my clients develop a focus mind when they workout. They used to go as a social gathering session rather than a training session. It is great to workout with people, but before you start to have a good time with your group, focus on your workout and meet up after to socialize.
3. You use food as rewards
Eating food is very important because it helps with recovery. I want my clients to know that they can eat pizza or a burger anytime, well, unless they have eating habits they need to work on, but together we try to change the mind set of feeling they accomplished something after a workout, like their health rather than feeling they earned to eat a pizza or burger.
